Cet article garantit qu’un mineur victime de violences sexuelles, sexistes ou intrafamiliales aura obligatoirement un avocat pour le représenter dans toute procédure judiciaire le concernant. Si le mineur n’en choisit pas, le procureur, le juge ou le tribunal en désignera un d’office, avec une prise en charge des frais par l’aide juridictionnelle. L’avocat pourra aussi s’abstenir de participer à certaines auditions si cela risque d’influencer négativement le témoignage de l’enfant.
